Located outside New Castle, Fleming Farm is operated by Carter and Carolyn Fleming.  A two-time award winner, Fleming Farm continues to add conservation practices to its commercial Angus beef cow/calf operation.  Since 2002, the Flemings have added numerous conservation practices to limit polluted runoff from entering Craig Creek, including installing fencing to create a riparian buffer and to preserve wetland areas.  Other practices have included creating animal walkways in high-traffic areas, and building a roofed winter feeding pad/manure storage facility.
